Mariko Nagai
Having grown up in Europe and America, Mariko has received the Pushcart Prizes both in poetry and fiction and has received fellowships from the Rockefeller Foundation, UNESCO, Akademie Schloss Solitude, Yaddo, to name a few. Author of books for both children and adult, she is also a translator of Japanese modern poetry, Mariko currently lives in Tokyo and is Professor of Japanese Literature and Creative Writing at Temple University Japan Campus.
